Aadhaar Card linking to bank accounts. Because the Indian Government has made the Aadhaar as mandatory to link for the bank accounts. Some people find difficulty in linking with Aadhaar & some people linked but don’t know the status. So, here’s the process of whether your Aadhar number is linked to a bank account or not.
Step 1: You have to go to Official Aadhaar website UIDAI: https://uidai.gov.in/
Step 2: From the menu tab, From My Aadhaar>Aadhaar Services>Check Aadhaar/Bank Linking Status
OR Directly click on this URL: https://resident.uidai.gov.in/bank-mapper
Step 3: Now you’ll get a page with “Check Aadhaar Bank Linking Status” as below screenshot.
Step 4: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the blank field & enter the security code displayed at your screen. Then Click on “Send OTP”. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Step 5: Enter the OTP which is received & click on Login to enter.
Step 6: Then you’ll get a Congratulations message & bank account linked to the Aadhar number.
If you didn’t receive any congratulations message, then try the following process.
Aadhaar Bank Linking Status Via Mobile
This is a simple process where you just use your dial pad on your mobile.
Step 1: Dial *99*99*1# with your registered mobile number
Step 2: Now enter your Aadhar number
Step 3: Re-confirm the Aadhaar number
Now you can see which bank account is linked to your Aadhaar number.
