Customer Service Representative:

This role involves working in rotational shifts, including night shifts. Only candidates who are comfortable working in these shifts are requested to apply.
The Opportunity:
As an Associate Customer Service Manager, you will find yourself in one of the most interesting and challenging positions in the organization if you have a strong orientation towards Sales and great customer service mindset.
The role offers you a unique opportunity and an experience to interact with the top academic researchers across the world, understand their needs, and recommend suitable solutions to help them. It is also an opportunity to directly influence the organizations revenue by meeting the monthly sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Keep a tight tab on all the channels through which the customers approach us i.e. Emails, Calls, Website forms etc. and ensure that all the leads coming from these channels are converted.
- Understanding the customers need by studying the customers history, buying patterns in the past and then recommend a suitable solution to ensure that the customer closes the sale with Editage.
- Ensure that all the customers who approach us are responded to within 1 business hour through the channels of calls, emails, or system-based quotations.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that the customers need is met within the deadline committed to the customers.
- Timely following up with the leads across markets to ensure maximum conversions.
- Identifying the market trends, customer trends and buying patterns of the customers and sharing it with the Managers on a timely basis.
- Provide an excellent after sales support by ensuring that customers queries are responded to in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Have excellent written and spoken communication skills. English mandatory, other languages are welcome!
- 0-1 year of experience - Freshers are encouraged to apply
- Have a service oriented and customer first mindset. You enjoy helping and using your communication, persuasion, and people skills to achieve operational & team results
- Have a collaborative working spirit and can work seamlessly cross teams and functions to resolve sticky situations

Responsibilities
- Digitizing data for the HR operations team on sharepoint.
- Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for entry.
- Maintaining a detailed and organized system to ensure data entries are complete and accurate.
- Establishing data entry standards by continually updating filing systems to improve data quality.
- Addressing data inconsistencies by working with operations team to collate data.
Please note
This is a 2 month contractual opportunity. As a remote position, the candidate must have basic hardware for their remote workspace, including a working desktop or laptop, computer reliable WIFI, and a smartphone or landline.
Desired skills and experience
- 6 months - 1 year of experience in data entry and data management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem solving and process improvement skills
- Multi-tasker, detail oriented, good problem solving skills
